Sundolitt EPS is an extremely versatile product which makes it very popular with precast concrete manufacturers.
Not only does it offer improved insulation to any of their products, but it has exceptional strength and load-bearing capacity.
The application shown here is Lattice Girder Slabs
Also, due to its extremely low weight to volume ratio (EPS is 98% air), where Sundolitt EPS is used as a partial substitute for concrete, the weight of the finished concrete components is reduced, making them easier to handle and, where appropriate, reducing the total load pressure applied to the subsoil and any underlying services, beneath the construction.
When used as a partial substitute for concrete, EPS will also shorten curing times, making for faster factory throughput.
EPS is also used at precast concrete plants, to protect finished goods either when they are being stored, or during delivery.
Sundolitt EPS is used in such precast products as:
- Insulated Beam & Block Floors
- Lattice Girder Slabs
- Composite Flooring
- Composite Building Blocks
- Insulated Hollowcore Flooring Units
- Stairs
It is available in a wide range of specifications, to suit every need.
Sundolitt offers:
• 4 standard densities, each with a different design load
• 4 standard Thermal Conductivity levels (or K Values)
• A wide range of sheet and block dimensions
• Other specifications to meet a client's individual requirements
